And in lighting as well the desire for environmentally compatible and sustainable technologies is making itself ever more apparent.

By doing without CFL energy-saving lamps you take a conscientious decision against toxic metals. Energy-saving lamps contain mercury. This is the reason they are not allowed to be disposed of via household waste but must be disposed of as hazardous waste. And not only that. LED lamps reduce CO2 emissions
Unbelievable but true: the effects of lighting on CO2 emissions is considerable. Meaning that you can have a significant impact if you replace just five of your 60 watt incandescent lamps with 10 watt LED lamps. Seen over a period of ten years, the following savings are possible:
- Energy consumption reduced from 2.956,50 kWh to 492,75 kWh.
- You thus save 468.11 euros or 83 % of energy costs.
- And you save the environment from 1,059.41 kg of harmful CO2 emissions.
- In order to neutralise this quantity of CO2, around 177 trees would have to be planted.
- The same quantity of CO2 is output by a car when travelling 8,127 km.
